Definition of Seerah
The word Seerah means a path and refers to the biography or life of a person. In this course, Seerah refers to the life of the greatest man who ever lived — Muhammad ﷺ.
In the Name of Allāh, the Compassionate, the Merciful. All praise is due to Allāh. May the peace and blessings of Allāh be upon our master Muhammad, and may Allāh bestow upon his family and Companions much peace. We ask Allāh جل جلاله to bless this gathering, we ask Allāh جل جلاله to benefit us from what we learn, we ask Allāh جل جلاله to teach us that which will benefit us, we ask Allāh جل جلاله to make us of those who will follow the way of Rasūlullāh ﷺ and love him, and we ask Allāh جل جلاله to make us of those who will be with him in Jannah.
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى 25 وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى26 وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةًۭ مِّن لِّسَانِى27 يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى28
"He said, “My Lord, put my heart at peace for me, and make my task easy for me and remove the knot from my tongue, so that they may understand my speech."
Surah Ta'ha, Ayah
