The Muttaqun — Those Who Believe in Al-Ghayb

The Quran's first description of the muttaqun is that they believe in Al-Ghayb — before prayer and charity. Ibn Kathir records from Ibn Mas'ud: No person will ever acquire a better type of faith than believing in Al-Ghayb. Abu Al-Aliyah says Al-Ghayb includes Allah, His angels, Books, Messengers, the Last Day, Paradise, Fire, and the meeting with Allah.
